Warmth for Winter: Wrapping Kids in Love, One Layer at a Time

Winters in Michigan can be unforgiving, but no child should have to face the cold alone. At Angels of Action, we believe that warmth isn’t just about coats and blankets—it’s about love, comfort, and the reassurance that someone cares.

That’s why Warmth for Winter exists—to ensure that every child in need has the essentials to stay warm and feel safe during the coldest months of the year.

A Gift of Warmth and Comfort

Through Warmth for Winter, we provide:
🧥 Coats – A layer of protection against the bitter cold
🧤 Gloves & Mittens – Keeping little hands warm and ready to play
🧣 Hats & Scarves – Wrapping kids in warmth from head to toe
❄️ Handmade No-Sew Fleece Blankets – A cozy reminder that they are loved

Each item is either donated, collected, or lovingly handmade by volunteers who believe in bringing warmth to children who need it most.

How You Can Help

💛 Join a Blanket-Making Event – Gather with our community to create no-sew fleece blankets that will be treasured by children in need.
💛 Make a Blanket at Home – Craft a warm and cozy gift from the heart and bring it to the Angels of Action office.
💛 Donate Winter Gear – New or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves can be dropped off at 200 S Stewart St to help a child stay warm this winter.

Because every child deserves to feel warm, safe, and wrapped in love—no matter the weather.
